missing in love
|
many a times people say, they miss their loved one if they are away from their beloved.but if its true love then u never miss them.they are alwys with you in your thoughts.so if u really love somebody u dont miss him or her coz u miss somebody if u forget him or her.have seen people getting over their once cherished love and remark it as a mistake .if u get over it then it wasnt love at all.true love happens only once and u cant just keep falling in and out of love.if u love somebody with your heart then how can u commit yourself to somebody else.u cant be in love with two people at the sam etime.can u ?If u love some body its for life otehrwise it wasnt love .it was just infatutaion.its ur luck that you get separated due to stroke of fate and chance of reunion are slim.yet u cant just get over the person.the thought remains iwth u.you leran to live with the memory of the love.its difficult but you have to do it.u miss somebody if u forget soembody .if u dont then u dont forget that person.they say time is a great healer but sometimes some things like wine get better with time.

rain water harvesting
|
its monsoon time in India os the focus in on rain water harvesting? what is it? in simple words its nothing but collecting rain water for other uses and recharging ground water table.water availability, both in terms of quality and quantity, has declined to such an extent that many parts of India, rural and urban, today face a drought-like situation. In towns like Chennai its mandatory to have the prog in all housing places .In delhi all new construction are approve donly when such projects are in place. The Centre for Science and Environment, a New Delhi based non-governmental organisation (NGO) has been promoting the revival of traditional systems of water harvesting as a practical solution for drought proofing the affected areas. The organisation has developed a comprehensive strategy to further the impact of its campaign for participatory, equitable and decentralised paradigm for water management
In urban aresa a good example is Jamia Hamdard University that ahs establishe drainw ater harvetsing schemes at its lib ,top of girl's hostel, surface run off harvesting and the results are to be seen.its self sufficient in wtaer and is in an area that is short of water.so promote it.

If Thou Must Love Me-my fav poem
|
If thou must love me, let it be for naught
Except for love's sake only. Do not say
"I love her for her smile...her look...her way of speaking gently---
For a trick of thought
That falls in well with mine, and certes brought
A sense of pleasant ease on such a day."
For these things in themselves, beloved, may be changed, or changed
for thee-and love so wrought may be unwrought so.
Neither love me for thine own dear pity's wiping my cheeks dry---
A creature might forget to weep, who bore their comfort long,
and lose their love thereby.
But love me for love's sake, that evermore thou mayst love on,
Through love's eternity. ------Elizabeth Barrett Browning

Unable to pay bills, man stranded in Bahrain for 28 yrs.help him
|
An Indian is stranded in Bahrain for the last over 28 years as he has not been able to pay a phone bill of over Rs 2 lakh.
According to Mohammed Karuppan, when he went to the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports and Residence to leave the country, he was told that he could not do so until he paid the Batelco phone bill.
The 52-year-old man has not left the country since he arrived 28 years ago.
Karuppan claims that a former colleague convinced him to use his CPR to register the GSM phone connection and that he had nothing else to do with the disconnected number, which accumulated the amount within a month in 1998.
"A month after taking the connection, I received the bill of BD 1,661. The friend rented out the phone to people to make international calls," Karuppan told the Gulf Daily.
"I kept sending my monthly salary of BD50 to my family in Kerala because there's no one else to support them.
"Probably, I'll be stuck in Bahrain until I die and will never be able to see my family again," he added.
